Alpaugh CDP is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tulare County, California, United States. The population was 1,078 at the 2010 census, up from 992 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Visalia metropolitan statistical area.
The Alpaugh post office opened in 1881, moved in 1882, and closed in 1919. The name comes from John Alpaugh, an early settler.
The community was formerly called Alpaugh Station, as it was a stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad.
