Lockeford CDP, California is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Joaquin County, California, United States. The population was 2,251 at the 2010 census. Lockeford is located 15 miles (24 km) southeast of Lodi, at an elevation of 131 feet (40 m).
The community was named after George Locke, who settled here in 1851. A post office operated at Lockeford from 1857 to 1858.
The town has a park and recreation center, which offers various activities and classes for residents. It is also home to the Lockeford Sausage Festival, held each year on the third Saturday in October.
