Raisin City is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kings County, California, United States. The population was 1,707 at the 2010 census, up from 1,620 at the 2000 census. Raisin City is located 6 miles (9.7 km) east-northeast of Hanford, at an elevation of 241 feet (73 m).
The first post office at Raisin City opened in 1887. The name comes from the fact that grapes were once grown in the area.
Raisin City is part of the Hanford–Corcoran Metropolitan Statistical Area.
