Pajaro Dunes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Monterey County, California, United States. The population was 1,423 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salinas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Pajaro Dunes is located on the Monterey Bay, just south of the city of Watsonville. It is a popular destination for camping, fishing, and bird watching. The area is also home to a variety of plant and animal life, including the endangered California condor.
