Centerville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Humboldt County, California, United States. The population was 1,527 at the 2010 census, up from 1,408 at the 2000 census.
The town is located along U.S. Route 101 on the Eel River, about halfway between Eureka and Arcata. It is the home of the Centerville Volunteer Fire Department and the Centerville Beach State Park.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km2), all of it land.”
