Pala CDP, California is a census-designated place in San Diego County, California. The population was 3,302 at the 2010 census. Pala is a Native American community and home to the Pala Band of Mission Indians. It is also home to the Pala Casino, which is one of the largest casinos in California.

Pala CDP is located in the foothills of the Palomar Mountains, northeast of Escondido and east of Temecula. The area is rural and scenic, with many hiking and camping opportunities in the nearby mountains. There are also several wineries in the area.
