Manhattan Beach is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, United States. The city is on the Pacific coast of the Greater Los Angeles area. Manhattan Beach is one of the three Beach Cities that make up the South Bay region.

Manhattan Beach features 2.1 miles of ocean frontage and 3 miles of beachfront property. There are several municipal parks in the city including Polliwog Park, Live Oak Park, and Marine Avenue Park. The city also has a public pier, the Manhattan Beach Pier, which is popular for fishing, surfing, and whale watching.

The city is home to a number of high-end retailers and restaurants as well as some smaller local businesses. The Downtown Manhattan Beach area features a number of art galleries, music venues, and nightlife options.

Manhattan Beach is a popular tourist destination for its beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The city also hosts a number of annual events including the Manhattan Beach Open Volleyball Tournament, the MB Post Beerfest & Chili Cook-Off, and the Pageant of the Masters.
