Swall Meadows is a small community located in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. It is situated at an elevation of 7,800 feet (2,377 m) and lies within Inyo National Forest. The town is named after the nearby Swall Creek, which flows into the Owens River.
The area around Swall Meadows is scenic and recreation opportunities abound. There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the area, as well as fishing, hunting, and camping. In winter, the area is popular for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
There are a handful of businesses in Swall Meadows, including a general store, cafe, and gas station. There is also a volunteer fire department.
