Amador Pines CDP is a census-designated place in Amador County, California. It is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, northeast of the city of Jackson. The population was 1,895 at the 2010 census.
The area around Amador Pines CDP was first inhabited by the Maidu people. In 1848, the area was settled by gold miners during the California Gold Rush. The community was originally known as Pine Grove. In 1918, the name was changed to Amador Pines.
