Tulelake is a city in Siskiyou County, California, United States. The population was 2,025 at the 2010 census, up from 1,874 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Siskiyou County.
Tulelake is located on the north shore of Tule Lake, at an elevation of 4,107 feet (1,253 m). The city is on the state line with Oregon and about 10 miles (16 km) south of the unincorporated community of Newell.
The primary economic activity in Tulelake is agriculture, particularly the production of potatoes and hay. The area is also home to a large number of migratory birds, and is a popular destination for birdwatching.
