About Kingsburg city, California
Kingsburg is a city in Fresno County, California. The population was 11,382 at the 2010 census. Kingsburg is located 15 miles (24 km) south-southeast of downtown Fresno, at an elevation of 351 feet (107 m). It is part of the Fresno-Madera Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The first European settlement in the Kingsburg area was established in 1867 by Swedish immigrants. The city was incorporated in 1907. Kingsburg is known for its annual Swedish Festival, held each year on Memorial Day Weekend.
Kingsburg is a relatively small city, but it offers a lot in terms of amenities and things to do. There are several parks and recreation areas, as well as shops and restaurants. The city also has a historic downtown area with preserved buildings from the early 20th century.
