Florence-Graham is a census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 63,777 at the 2010 census, up from 60,197 at the 2000 census.
The CDP includes the unincorporated community of Florence and the city of Graham. Florence-Graham is bordered by the city of Downey to the west and the city of Bell Gardens to the east.
Florence-Graham is located in the central portion of Los Angeles County. It is about 10 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
The 2010 United States Census reported that Florence-Graham had a population of 63,777. The racial makeup of Florence-Graham was 24,536 (38.6%) White (10.2% Non-Hispanic White),[8] 2,146 (3.4%) African American,[9] 721 (1.1%) Native American,[10] 1,404 (2.2%) Asian,[11] 604 (0.9%) Pacific Islander,[12] 30,552 (47.9%) from other races,[13] and 3,206 (5.0%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 58,049 persons (90.7%).
The Census reported that 63,359 people (99.6% of the population) lived in households, 145 (0.2%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 273 (0.4%) were institutionalized.
There were 16,135 households, out of which 8,184 (50.8%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 8,063 (49.8%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 3,368 (20.9%) had a female householder with no husband present, 1,512 (9.4%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 1,346 (8.3%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 102 (0.6%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 2,713 households (16.8%) were made up of individuals, and 1,377 (8.5%) had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.”
