Spring Valley Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in the San Bernardino Valley, in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 12,826 at the 2010 census.
The lake itself is man-made, created in 1960 by the Spring Valley Lake Company. It is now a private community with its own security force. The lake is used for recreation, including swimming, fishing, and boating. There are also several parks in the community.
