Guerneville is a census-designated place (CDP) in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County, California, United States. The town of Guerneville is one of the largest communities in the unincorporated area of Sonoma County. It has a population of about 4,500 people. The CDP includes a large number of businesses and organizations, including the Guerneville Chamber of Commerce, the Guerneville Community Center, and the Guerneville School District. The town is also home to a number of historic buildings and sites, such as the Sonoma County Museum and the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve.
