Lennox CDP, California is a census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 22,753 at the 2010 census, up from 22,033 at the 2000 census. Lennox is a unincorporated community within the City of Inglewood.
Lennox CDP is located at 33°57′N 118°19′W (33.9504, -118.3194). It lies south of El Segundo Boulevard and west of Hawthorne Boulevard, adjacent to the city of Inglewood and near the Los Angeles International Airport. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²), all of it land.
The 2010 United States Census reported that Lennox CDP had a population of 22,753. The racial makeup of Lennox CDP was 11,529 (50.7%) African American, 748 (3.3%) White, 172 (0.8%) Native American, 1,599 (7.0%) Asian, 41 (0.2%) Pacific Islander, 7,405 (32.5%) from other races, and 559 (2.5%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 15,171 persons (66.6%).
Lennox CDP is an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse community. The median household income in 2010 was $37,926, up from $31,638 in 2000. The per capita income in 2010 was $17,487, down from $20,813 in 2000.”
