Arnold CDP is a census-designated place in Calaveras County, California, United States. The population was 3,843 at the 2010 census, up from 3,365 at the 2000 census. Arnold is located on State Route 4, 7mi east-southeast of Angels Camp.
The place was named after John W. Arnold, who settled there in 1862. A post office operated at Arnold from 1883 to 1918, moving in 1903.
Arnold contains several small parks and two larger ones, White Pines Lake and Blue Lake. There are also many hiking trails in the area.
