Shaver Lake CDP, California is a census-designated place in Fresno County, California, United States. The population was 3,593 at the 2010 census, up from 3,362 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Clovis, California Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Shaver Lake area was first inhabited by the Mono people, who arrived in the area around 10,000 BC. The first Europeans to settle in the area were the Spanish, who arrived in the early 1800s. The area was later settled by American settlers, who arrived in the late 1800s.

The Shaver Lake area is named after John S. Shaver, who settled in the area in 1864. Shaver Lake is a man-made lake that was created in 1944 when the Central Valley Project dammed the San Joaquin River. The lake is used for recreation and is a popular destination for fishing, camping, and boating.

Shaver Lake CDP is located in eastern Fresno County, in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The CDP includes the unincorporated community of Shaver Lake as well as the surrounding rural areas. The CDP covers an area of 33.4 square miles (86.4 square kilometers), all of it land.
