Indio Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 3,081 at the 2010 census, up from 2,543 at the 2000 census.
The Indio Hills community is located in the eastern Coachella Valley, approximately 25 miles east of the city of Palm Springs. It includes the unincorporated area north of State Route 62 and south of Interstate 10, between the cities of Indio and Cabazon.
The area includes several small mountain ranges, including the San Jacinto Mountains and the Little San Bernardino Mountains. The highest peak in the Indio Hills is Wooley Peak, with an elevation of 5,843 feet (1,781 m).
