Rexland Acres is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the San Joaquin Valley in Fresno County, California. The population was 2,191 at the 2010 census. Rexland Acres is located 4 miles (6 km) northeast of downtown Fresno, at an elevation of 351 feet (107 m).
Rexland Acres was developed in the early 1950s as a suburban community for families working in Fresno. The community was named after developer Rex Hawn, who built many of the homes in the area. The homes in Rexland Acres are small, single-story houses on large lots. Many of the homes have been well-maintained and updated over the years.
The community is served by the Clovis Unified School District. Students in Rexland Acres attend Alta Sierra Elementary School, Kastner Intermediate School, and Buchanan High School.
