About Biola CDP, California

Biola is a census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 8,468 at the 2010 census, up from 7,677 at the 2000 census.

The community is named for its founder, Isaac Newton Babbitt, who also developed the alloy of the same name. It is adjacent to the cities of La Mirada and Norwalk.

Biola is located at 33°53′54″N 118°0′9″W (33.898333, -118.002500).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all of it land.
