Casmalia is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Barbara County, California, United States. The population was 1,239 at the 2010 census, up from 1,158 at the 2000 census. Casmalia is located along State Route 1 south of Orcutt and north of Lompoc.

The community was named for the nearby Chumash village of Kashow.
