About Clio CDP, California

Clio CDP, California is a census-designated place located in the northernmost part of the state. It is bordered by Oregon to the north and Nevada to the east. As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,631.

The area around Clio CDP was first settled by Native Americans. The first Europeans to arrive were Spanish explorers in the late 18th century. The area remained mostly rural until the 20th century when it began to be developed for agriculture and forestry.
