About Ducor CDP, California

Ducor is a small unincorporated community in Tulare County, California. It is located along State Route 99, northeast of Visalia and south of Pixley. Ducor has a population of about 1,200 people.

The community was founded in 1892 by George D. Butler and named after him. Butler was a rancher and farmer who owned a large amount of land in the area. The town grew rapidly in the early 1900s, with several businesses opening up, including a hotel, grocery store, and blacksmith shop.

Ducor began to decline in the mid-1900s, as many of its residents moved away to larger cities. However, it has remained a relatively stable community since then. Ducor is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Butler House (built in 1892), the Ducor Hotel (built in 1903), and the Ducor Theater (built in 1937).
