About Foothill Farms CDP, California

Foothill Farms is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Sacramento County, California. The population was 23,462 at the 2010 census. The CDP is bordered by Rosemont to the north, Citrus Heights to the south, and Rio Linda to the east.

Foothill Farms was originally developed as an agricultural community in the early 1900s. The area was known for its prune orchards and chicken farms.
