Guinda is a census-designated place in Yolo County, California. The population was 1,067 at the 2010 census. Guinda is located 10.5 miles (16.9 km) north of Esparto, at an elevation of 151 feet (46 m).

The town’s name is derived from the Spanish word for “prickly pear,” which grows abundantly in the area. Guinda is also home to a large variety of other fruits and vegetables, including apricots, cherries, grapes, and tomatoes. The community is home to many small businesses, including a winery, a cidery, and a bakery.
