Hanford is a city located in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The city has a population of just over 55,000 people and is the county seat of Kings County. Hanford was founded in 1876 and was named after James J. Hanford, who owned the land on which the city was built. The city is home to a number of businesses and industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, and retail. Hanford is also a popular tourist destination, due to its proximity to Yosemite National Park and other attractions.
