Lakeview CDP, California is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 12,328 at the 2010 census, up from 11,523 at the 2000 census. It is located on the southeast shore of Big Bear Lake.

The area now known as Lakeview was first settled by homesteaders in the late 19th century. A post office was established in 1908, and the community was officially named Lakeview in 1909.

Today, Lakeview is a popular tourist destination, with many hotels and resorts catering to visitors seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The town offers a variety of activities for both summer and winter, including fishing, boating, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding.
