Los Olivos is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Barbara County, California, United States. The population was 1,132 at the 2010 census, up from 931 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Santa Ynez Valley. The community of Los Olivos is governed by a Community Services District.

The town of Los Olivos is about 25 miles (40 km) north of Santa Barbara and about 10 miles (16 km) inland from the Pacific Ocean. It sits at an elevation of about 500 feet (150 m). The 2010 United States Census reported that Los Olivos had a population of 1,132. The racial makeup of Los Olivos was 938 (83.0%) White, 5 (0.4%) African American, 10 (0.9%) Native American, 24 (2.1%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 158 (14.0%) from other races, and 37 (3.3%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 365 persons (32.4%).

According to the 2010 census, the CDP has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3 km2), all land.
