Lucerne CDP, California is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, California, United States. The population was 3,890 at the 2010 census. It is located on the west shore of Clear Lake, about 4mi north of Lakeport, the county seat.

The first post office at Lucerne opened in 1871. The community was named after the city of Lucerne in Switzerland.

Lucerne is a popular destination for recreation and tourism in Lake County. Clear Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake entirely within California, provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, boating, and water skiing. There are also several parks and public beaches in the area.
