About Mesa Verde CDP, California

Mesa Verde is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Diego County, California. The population was 3,749 at the 2010 census. The CDP includes the neighborhoods of Mesa Verde and Rancho San Diego.

Mesa Verde is located in central San Diego County, east of the city of El Cajon and north of Lakeside. It is bordered to the east by the Cuyamaca Mountains, to the north by Cleveland National Forest, and to the south and west by unincorporated areas of San Diego County.

Rancho San Diego is a large unincorporated community in San Diego County, California, United States. It is located about 25 miles (40 km) east of downtown San Diego and about 9 miles (14 km) north of the Mexico–United States border. The community includes several small villages and the neighborhoods of La Presa and Casa de Oro.
