Nord is a census-designated place (CDP) in Shasta County, California, United States. The population was 2,47 at the 2010 census, up from 1,943 at the 2000 census. Nord is located along Interstate 5 northeast of Redding, at an elevation of 1,383 feet (422 m).
The community was named for its location on the Northern Pacific Railway. A post office operated at Nord from 1903 to 1910.
