About Oak Glen CDP, California

Oak Glen CDP is a census-designated place in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 3,890 at the 2010 census. Oak Glen is located in the San Bernardino Mountains. It is about 25 miles (40 km) east of downtown San Bernardino and 10 miles (16 km) north of Yucaipa.

Oak Glen is home to several apple orchards, as well as other types of agriculture such as cherries, pears, and pumpkins. The area is popular for its many hiking trails and scenic views.

The community of Oak Glen dates back to the 1800s when it was first settled by Mormon pioneers. Today, the community is a mix of Mormons and non-Mormons, with many residents working in the agricultural industry.
