Oakhurst is a census-designated place (CDP) in Madera County, California, United States. The population was 3,579 at the 2010 census, up from 2,829 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Madera–Chowchilla Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Oakhurst is located at 37°19′56″N 119°39′42″W / 37.33222°N 119.66167°W / 37.33222; -119.66167 (37.332153, -119.661572).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.7 square miles (14.8 km²), all of it land.
