Penngrove is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sonoma County, California, United States. The population was 4,984 at the 2010 census.
Penngrove is located at the northernmost tip of Sonoma County, between Petaluma to the south and Cotati to the north. The rural community is situated 10 miles (16 km) inland from the Pacific Ocean. Penngrove’s main street is Main Street, which is also State Route 116.
