About Phillipsville CDP, California

Phillipsville is a small census-designated place located in Humboldt County, California. It has a population of just over 300 people and is situated on the banks of the Mad River. The community was originally founded in the 1850s as a logging town and still retains some of its old-time charm. Visitors can explore the old-growth forests, go fishing or rafting on the river, or enjoy the scenic views from one of the many hiking trails in the area.
