About Sierra Village CDP, California

Sierra Village is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mono County, California, United States. The population was 98 at the 2010 census, up from 85 at the 2000 census. It is located on the Sierra Nevada slope east of Yosemite National Park.

The CDP includes the unincorporated community of Sierra Village, which is located along State Route 140 near its junction with U.S. Route 395. Sierra Village has a general store, a café, and a post office. The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center is located just outside the CDP.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.3 km2), all of it land.
