Whitehawk is a census-designated place in El Dorado County, California, United States. The population was 1,951 at the 2010 census, up from 1,848 at the 2000 census.
Whitehawk is located at 38°52′26″N 120°53′20″W / 38.87389°N 120.88889°W / 38.87389; -120.88889 (38.873794, -120.888967), in the Sierra Nevada foothills, 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Cameron Park and 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Shingle Springs.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km²), all of it land.
