About Whitley Gardens CDP, California

Whitley Gardens is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 2,910 at the 2010 census, up from 2,664 at the 2000 census.

The community is located on the former site of the World War II-era Camp Ono, which operated from 1942 to 1946. A large portion of Whitley Gardens consists of housing that was built for Camp Ono workers.

Since the 1950s, Whitley Gardens has been home to a number of industries, including a steel mill and a glass factory. These industries have provided employment for many residents of the community.

Whitley Gardens is a diverse community, with residents of all ages and backgrounds. The community is proud of its history and looks forward to a bright future.
