Williams Canyon CDP, California is a census-designated place located in El Dorado County. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 1,032. The community is named after early settler Samuel Williams.

The Williams Canyon CDP is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, east of the city of Placerville. It is situated along State Route 49, which runs through the center of the CDP. The community is home to several businesses, including a gas station and a grocery store.

The Williams Canyon CDP has a Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and cool winters. The area receives an average of 35 inches of precipitation per year.

The community is served by the El Dorado Union High School District. Students in the CDP attend Ponderosa High School.
