Elmira is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fresno County, California, United States. The population was 1,069 at the 2010 census, up from 813 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Madera–Chowchilla Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.
