Silver Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 12,775 at the 2010 census, up from 9,186 at the 2000 census.

Silver Lakes is located at (34.748056, -117.281944).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 22.8square miles (59.0km2), of which, 22.7square miles (58.9km2) of it is land and 0.1square miles (0.26km2) of it (0.54%) is water.

Demographics

2010

The 2010 United States Census reported that Silver Lakes had a population of 12,775. The racial makeup of Silver Lakes was 7,063 (55.0%) White (31.8% Non-Hispanic White), 1,023 (8.0%) African American, 145 (1.1%) Native American, 208 (1.6%) Asian, 18 (0.1%) Pacific Islander, 3,274 (25.6%) from other races, and 402 (3.1%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5,978 persons (46.7%).
